i just got a 40 acre lease near The Dave Donaldson WMA. It's off of Skaggs Ferry Rd. The 40 is woods surrounded by rice fields. Is it any good or did I waste my money and time?

Can you flood any of the timber?

Good flooded timber is hard to find as good tracts are already leased and never given up. It might not be legal to flood it artifically also depending on what various Gov't agencies say. Natural flooding yes, but I'd check on it. Now days good ground is rarely advertised for lease as it's snapped up before it's necessary to run an ad. Good luck.

That is an excellent lease you have. I know the area well and have seen ducks bombing into it. You'll prolly kill 1500 ducks or so. Congratulations!
