ummmmmm

You were CLOSE!

color on #1 is great IMO, I think Dizzy would tell you that you have some cyan issues in #2,3,& 5. Some present in 4 too but not as bad as the others. These are some really cool perspectives. Unreal detail in the eye of that Osprey! Clean up the color issues and you're GOLDEN!

Thanks all,
Squatty, your right, after looking again this morning, the colors are off, the pictures look too bright, I guess that's the cyan effect?

Tom f,
Easy to get close when they can't fly yet... but to get the nest view, I put the camera on my tripod, held the tripod in the air, and fired away with my wireless remote. The fisheye is forgiving in this type of thing because of its wide field of view, and its depth of field is very deep.

Paul,

No not too bright.....

Do this, make a selection of an area (not the sky) that appears to have the cyan wash look. Use one of your selection tools. Then open up your saturation adjustment and switch it to cyan and slide the slider way up then way down. This will give you an idea of what you're dealing with and this is how you can fix it. Also you may want to try the Blue color as well.

Hope that helps ......

Once you do this you should be able to tell what needs to be done to correct it.

I'm not good at explaining this stuff......

Very nice and great idea on the monopod / tripod --- going to give that a try on a Swanson's nest when the adults are gone.
